I finally have my TO 20 running good, with a 5 ft mower attached. I want to sell the tractor so it doesn't sit another 10 or so years. What is a fair price. It needs paint, that is about all that is wrong with it. I even have a scraper bucket, which also needs paint. Thanks stan |

I gave $400.00 for mine and it even had good tires and rims and the sheet metal was good. Although somebody painted red and gray trying to make it look like a 35. Sadly the dealer here will not even take those old tractors in on trade because their lack of live power or live hydraulics. He says he can not get rid of them because of that. Gold around here is 8N. $3000.00- $5000.00 and I wouldn't trade a TO20 for 3 8N's, but that's just me.

here in va, they are worth 14ct. gold they think. lol i paid 2600 for my to-20. the only problem i ever had was the oil gauge that amounted to anything, metal is good, paint is good, never used a drop of oil i wouldnt take less than 3000 for mine.but it's not up for sale, so i dont know what people would offer. i may just put it out there one day when it gets warmer and see what im offered. lol bill

If the tires are decent, the tractor and mower could bring around $1,800 to 2,200. New tires would obviously increase that and poor tires could drop it down to around $1,500 or less. (Tractors don"t sell too well around here in the wintertime, though.)

What condition are the tires? Tires are one of the biggest things that can make or break the value of the tractor.

I see 9n's and even better 8n's listed for 3500 and in my opinion a to20 is a better tractor but probably 16 max.

Here in VT you would be doing well to get 1500 - 1700 for a good running tractor with straight sheet metal.
