Looks a lot easier that the way you WERE doing it. Kinda fun to get them out and work them a little. Here's a pic of my TO-20 after a late February ice storm back in 2007 just after I'd gotten mine all prettied up. It didn't look so good after I got back from the city tree dump across town....there was about 2" of mud on top of the frozen ground, really soupy! Irv |

| | Looks nice, Irv - in fact, I hope my TO-20 looks as good as yours someday! (Which paint/color did you use?) No ice storms - or any real winter weather of any kind, for that matter - around here for the past couple of years. |

| I went to Google just now to look "fena" up and came up empty...use fergusontractors.org. I belong to it, but hadn't been on the sight for a while. At the top under "resources" then "paint" you can see all the numbers. They had the national meet in Boonville, Missouri last September. I really wanted to go but was on a three day tractor ride that I'd signed up for in the spring. Too much fun, so little time. LOL Irv |

| Thanks for the compliment!! It started out as a junk yard jewel. I went up to an automotive parts house (Arnold Motor Supply) and had them look it up. They mixed it but the color on the can said "Nissan gray" when they got it done. I figured, what the heck??, but shot it on anyway. It seems like there's more blue in it than there should be, but I really like it and a lot of other Ferguson guys do to. I used a base coat-clear coat on it with a minimum of buffing. I didn't want it to look like a mirror two feet deep, just a nice smooth tough paint job that would retain its gloss. They have all the listings for paint on the "FENA" web sight now. I don't think they did back then. Lots of good information there, and a great group of guys. Irv |

| | Thanks, Irv. I"m a FENA member, too, and I"ve printed out the chart with the paint codes. I used a rattle can of Van Sickle Ferguson Gray (476) for a few small items (seat, hinge, spring) and it seemed a little too tan/taupe, compared to the photos I"ve seen of tractors like yours, so I haven"t settled on a paint yet. I wanted to go to Boonville last September, too - but I was at an auction, buying this tractor! |

| Well, it looks like you had a rewarding weekend even if you didn't get to go to the show. As for the paint, I got a couple cans of that 476 and the color on the cap looked right on but I painted a gas tank tool box and it didn't match at all. I thought it was way too brown/tan, too. I've been to several Ferguson shows, and I don't think there was two of them the same color unless they belonged to the same guy. LOL Irv |
