Will serial #'s tell if it has live PTO like the 40. I don't have #'s on green one. It 400 miles away. |

| Yes Mickey the S/N prefix letters will tell that however they did not put the prefix letters on until sometime in the middle of 1956 production. At the same time the F-40s went into production. |

| On ours there were prefix letters that told the factory spec, same as on your F-40 So I assume the 35 was the same? SNM was a 'S'=standard width....'N' Perkins diesel....'M' dual clutch SDM was the same only the 'D' was a standard diesel engine. Look for an 'M' in the prefix. Sam |

| You are correct Sam however our TO 35s did not start using the prefix letters until sometime in 1956. See the following post "1st bamboo serial number." |
