Even if they bolt up I always thought there might be differences in weight or balance. If you have a dead MF50 you could take the two stage clutch flywheel out of that and use it to finish up the 35 project and worry about flywheel/starter compatibility when you get to the MF50 later. Because the single stage clutch and flywheell on this 202 are knackered to the end, the flywheel has such a worn circle my machinist said not to even keep it, junk. So is the... oh, I'll post the pics again and save typing! The delco remi ring gears in the YT store are only $34... the flywheel itself was the big $ question... Actually Dan, you are more depressing than John! I really didn't want to write off that MF50... but like you said, cross that bridge when we get to it! I don't want to go shopping any further that the dead track out back. And in the end, out of 3 dead tractors, get all 3 running and working, or atleast the worst engine mated to the worst backhalf etc. I need to try a new timing chain on the 23C, so the front has to come back off, at that point, I was going to put from the flywheel back onto this soon rebuilt z134.... then see what becomes of the diesel and 50... kinda like dealing with cabin fever with adult size leggo's....???? Find an AD3 152 engine from a 135 and bolt it into that live drive backend and you will never use any other tractor. Are you sure you didn't have any part in a Frankinstein movie ,Tony? Tell ya Sam, the Standard 'was' my 21st century atempt at diesels once again... perhaps try again, next time a Perkins? in the begining of the 22nd century? As far as movies... did I ever tell you about my small roll in Mell Gibson and Anthony Hopkins 'Bounty'???? How much time ya got to listen???? 'kinda sorta suppostabe the same but they're all different'... that's what's got me sitting on a milk crate drinking a Carling Black Label... The diesel has a live hydro/live pto back half sitting there under-utilized? And the 202's back has nothing in there but the drive shaft and diff's, which would be just the ticket for a rolling mosquito killer/secret smoke screen device.... The chances I would get it back in the same smokey condition is 50/50 or better, at??? Hey the shop near me wanted 700 to 'look at' the CAV pump, I paid 600 for the whole bloody tractor! I'm sure it will warm your little heart when I tell you the snow drift is melting enough where I can get to the diesel- atleast the front of it, and change out the timing chain. Another 12 bolts I could roll the engine away huh?... that's why I posted the thread, see what the chances were...
