If you leave now, when would you be in Valleyview Alberta? An old neighbor (with a U) of yours needs help working on a GOOD tractor for once. And I'd like to offer the best assistance I can think of... you....
We're all pullin fer ya, and proud of you! Have a safe trip. Keep warm. Don't worry about tools, Lyle has everything you'll need.
Let us know how the hydraulic pump turns out...

Hey pictures!

Looks very much like mine did when disassembling. Looks like you had a heck of a time with the tie rod ends. The front end looks a lot different than my 202 although I have never had it apart to that extent.

Just had to throw in that your manifold is in one piece...........nice, I'm real happy for ya!

See that? Lyle defrosts the fergie, and it runs fine! Good thing I didn't drive all the way there in -30 weather. you don't have to go either if you rather stay home for Christmas.
So this is what I did today. What I did not do is break the manifold the way you do... see the missing rotor cap? it's in the engine-someplace. Popped the tie rod like a butcher, ruined the autozone tuning fork doing it, swet bullets putting the torch to the power steering ends, can't find my other small pallet, so stacked lumber in perperation for my Christmas eve tradition.... splitting a tractor!!! with the whole family helping!!!.....
I used to have a family... they don't visit anymore.... have no idea why...

Almost 22 hours.......I'm probably closer to come and help you out Tony.

Nope, not quite, 25 hours to Mass.......although not sure exactly what city you're in. But hey, if you wanted to take a nice vacation to go help Lyle, ya know, if it's too warm for you where you are or something, you could always stop here on your way through for a rest, maybe a cup of coffee or a........well I could probably find some Black Label somewhere.

So in just under 48 hours you could be there, heck, that's only two days, now THAT's what uncles are for!

I just dug up the log book of the trip I took out there for a family emergency... no, not when lyle was in a straight jacket in the back of a RCMP growler, another disfunctional family matter.... I went by US 90, and 15 to the border...and straight up the only road to Edmonton... 4 1/2 days, 44 hours of just driving, not encluding eats and sleeps. They said it was quicker than the TransCanada, 'cause of the crooked parts east of you. And he is 2? 3? more? hours north of there???? Noooooo, you better do it... I'll check on you guys in the spring....

Are you NUTS?!?!? Did you read where he said it's -30C up there? I'm surprised his camera even worked to take those pictures 'cause when the temperature gets much colder than that the light freezes and doesn't reflect off of objects fast enough to take a picture.
