Tony in Mass. 09-21-2012 20:29:19 76.127.225.182 Report to Moderator	When someone posted a 'Harold Ferguson' awhile ago, I didn't put it on the thread, but I was thinking, from what I learned about Harry over the years, if someone called him Harold, that person would get invited to take a very close look at a spinning propeller... This gentleman had 2 of these plows, one was his father's- I got the other. His father bought this TO20 brand new, with the butterfly plow and these harrows in 1950. The 'son' is going to be 90 in a couple years. Both still working in the cabbage patch as needed. It is now running over the withered stalks and picked out rows. I have to measure his bracket around the pto that triggers the flip mechanism and reproduce one. BTW, that plow (plough???) is heavier than it looks. [Reply]   [No Email]

This is the son, 88, the father who bought the 20 has been gone awhile now, he would have been 113 or so. So the dad was 51 when he bought the fergie. Apparently a wartime Ford broke at the pivot, the local dealer let him borrow this while the 2N was being repaired... this stayed while the ford became a trade in. The missing part to flip is much easier to weld up than the missing long extinct top link mechanism for the Dearborn Lindemann 2 way. [Reply]  [No Email]

You notice the size of the doggie door? So keep out yo! You 2, have too many old cars, and not enough tractors. My cousin's father in law just moved back up here from Florida panhandle. He wants a model T or A project. They know I got a T stuffed in a garage that hasn't seen daylight in decades... I told him there are about 50 A's just in my town, and one every 5 houses where he came from, he should have bought one there and brought it north eh? The caveman that invented a metal share and moldboard is where civilization begain. When you see people in the third world still plowing with a tree stump... is there any wonder the rest of their world is 3000 years behind? I dug up our first 2 bottom Dearborn plow the other day, I remember butchering it with 'government job' shins and shares I made at work, cause back 20 years ago, parts were scarcer than nowdays, but it still has nice lines, streamlined? People curse the internet, but it does was it was ment to do, get people together to trade swap and decide what the world needs made, like Dearborn plow shares... or steel shares on your tree stump?
