Now there's a good idea! Check off 5 states at a time, every show you attend, in ...9 and a half years you got the country covered. Hawaiian and Alaskan FENA shows are very unlikely... So those decals were for my 35 with the Standard? I have the North American hood and grill tho.... it is back on the repair track, another guy told me to just send the injectors someplace else, it may turn out to be a runner afterall. So European MF parts were the big score?? That's like shipping coal to Newcastle eh? You flew directly to Northern Ireland from St Louis? Around here, there are nearly commutor shuttle 'Boston - Shannon' flights. Sometimes very low cost, kindofa 21st century backpackers budget route.... how many F40's and French spare parts can you get in a rucksack??? |

| You got it Tony ....31 states now under my belt! Flew out Dublin-Newark- St Louis.....Flew back St Louis-Washington-Dublin...just it worked out cheaper that way. Suitcase held one complete nosecone for a 1080, one set of grilles for a super 90 , six headlights, some with the little eyebrow hood still on! 8 or 9 gauges all original, one rev counter plus, plus, plus all those small switches, knobs etc that just go to finish off a restoration. All in all a good week-ends fishing!!! Oh and the clothes....well they made good padding to ensure no glass was broken en route!!! Sam |
