BEWARE!!!
IF THIS PERSON CONTACTS YOU DO NOT REPLY AS THIS PERSON IS A SCAMMER. He contacted me wanting to buy my crimper and I said $2850.00 for price and I thought he wanted to buy my crawler not the crimper and he aggreed to this price, which no one in their right mind would. And he aggreed to buy it without even seeing a photo of the item, who does that? No One. He emailed me using one word emails which didn't make sense. He never called me on the item, but I tried to call the number that was listed, and someone answered but wouldn't answer my questions, was typing in the back round, and was listening to hard rock music. He said he was going to send a certified check. Which there are scams out there that if you cash these checks they get all your bank information and can drain your checking account. So just watch out people!

It takes around 10 days for some checks to clear most banks. If you have an account in good standing with a bank, they will go ahead and cash the check, but that in no way means that the check is legitimate. In the event that the check is no good, the bank simply comes back and takes the money out of your account.
All you have to do to filter the scammers is tell them you will send them them their "over payment" only after their check clears your bank. You will never hear from them again.
"If it sounds too good to be true, it likley is."

That is a common scam, largely originating from African countries.

The name Johnson Williams is just as fake as the rest of their sales pitch...
