I sold David about half an early unstyled A, all in pieces, and he communicated great, mailed me a money order for a pretty good amount all the way down here to Mississippi. He had a good attitude, arranged for a transit delivery man to pick the parts up at my place. (David's transport man was Ray Menzel, SunKars Transit, who was super to deal with). So I had a good 4 or 5 good phone conversations with David, made a parts/money deal, and we both came away happy. I say he was very good to deal with. Paul Dakin, Oxford Mississippi

Dealt with Dave on many occasion buying, selling, trading. Has always been fair, always is a pleasure to visit with him. Dave represents his parts and tractors accordingly and has very good selection of NOS parts at a fair price. I would have no problem dealing with Dave with future transactions. I wish I could say that about all the people in this hobby.

Scott,
I’m sure we would like to hear the dealing you had, to leave such a negative response?

Scott, lets tell the truth here, I have been waiting to open this can of worms. Would you like me to tell the Tractor word about your BS tactics??????? I sold Scott a #44 plow,He wanted to come friday afternoon so I blew off 2 hours of overtime @ 38.00 per hour to meet his needs. Then after 2 HOURS OF LOOKING AT THE PLOW AND WALKING AROUND IT, HE TRYS TO LOW BALL ME. I said no way, forget it, it is not for sale at that price. So Scott leaves, empty trailer, (2 1/2 hour drive LOL)The next morning he calls me back and wants to make me another offer, I said NO, it is not for sale now. Then he PLEADS WITH ME TO LISTEN to his new offer. He needs it for his AR real bad. I listen and accept for $75.00 less money. Then he dose not have all the cash and wants me to take a Credit card check. So I loose $76.00 & 75.00 for a total of $151.00 to get BASHED by this POS!!! If I miss represented the plow Scott, why did you come back??? You must have Buyers remorse, or your wife kicked your ash for spending the house payment on a plow!!???? Pay your house off first like I did and then get into the JD hobby. You knew what you were looking at when you came over!!!! DB.

You didn't think I'd be happy when I found out you lied to me, did you Dave? I guess you thought I'd just go away if you ignored me.

Scott, the reason you were ignored was due to your RUDE phone message and RUDE Email. Excuse me while I get the Knife out of my back. End of story,D.B.

You’re really not giving all the information? Just saying he lied to you? With no exclamation? Makes no scents. Sounds like YOU bought the item for sale regardless. If you weren't happy with it why did you buy it? You’re really not backing up your statement, if you’re trying to alert forum members about this seller.

He told me the plow had original paint, among other things, and I wanted to believe him so I took him at his word. Less than an hour after I got home and after closer inspection I found out the plow had been repainted at some point. So I guess I figured out in less than 60 minutes what he couldn"t in 3 years?

Ive dealt with Dave and everything has always been as represented. Nice guy to talk to too in my experience. Last dealt with him Oct/Nov last year, so unless he has had personality changes between now and then you should be ok.
