The original subject was "Marty2374".

Wow, Great News, as usual I am a day late and a dollar short.
I just purchased a part for my 350 from him on ebay. I asked him a question on weight of an item as it was showing allot more than when I first looked at it, and he replied back to me VERY rudely and then blocked me from any of his sales. I replied back to him explaining why I had asked about the weight of the item and apologized to him if i had offended him for any reason but of course I never heard back from him.
I sure hope i get my part, in good condition now after reading this thread. Sure am sorry I didn"t see this before I bid on any of his items.

Well I finally got the tach I purchased from him for my 350 Farmall.

What a POS ! He intentionally took the picture out of focus so you could not see that the face of the tach is rusty and the numbers and writing on the face is completely illegible. Well lesson learned, I am not even going to try to put it on my tractor. I am glad I saved a factory block off plate to cover up the hole where it goes, that will look much nicer than that chunk of rust o'l Farty Marty sent me.

Well, its been 7 days now, not a word or anything on my part. Real nice people skills this guy has.

GOOD LUCK !!! He is without a doubt a very rude person to deal with. Can't figure how someone like him ever got a feedback rating that high.[/quote:72340bba3b]

Yeah I was wondering about that too. I guess I will have to wait and see how long it takes him to get around to dealing with me.

Thanks for your input guys, its nice to know I'm not the only one who has problems with this person.[/quote]

My experience/feedback is that he (Marty Prill) is NOT trustworthy. My dealings are that he doesn't have the parts he says he has and will lie about getting them and getting them to you. He will let you waste time and energy trying to get parts (non ebay). Even though he knows your coming he'll disappear before you get there and you'll have to wait for him to come back. Instead of being honest and saying he doesn't have the part you want or sold it out from under you or whatever he'll play games leading you on that he has it. Others are right. He can be rude and gruff at times and will hang up on you if he knows your phone #. I've seen him return negative ebay feedback on items that he received neutral feedback on. The main reason I think he's got high positive feedback on ebay is due to the fact that people are scared of getting negative feedback from him. That may change since ebay changed their rules and sellers can't leave negative feedback for buyers. Definitely buyer be ware. Once bitten twice shy.
