Received a interesting email about this fellow, it is posted below.I hope they catch up with him and he is made to pay everyone the money back that he received from them for parts that he never had or sent. Here is the email message I received: Good Morning, When the U. S. Mails are used for the purpose of furthering any type of fraud, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service is responsible for conducting an investigation to determine whether or not a criminal act has occurred and whether criminal prosecution is warranted. In conducting an investigation of the Subject listed below, it has been come to our attention that you might have become a victim of this Subject's activities. If that is the case, please call me at your convenience so that I may obtain information from you, relative to your purchases from the subject. If you are aware of anyone else who has been victimized by the subject, please have them call me. I am looking for anyone who has made a purchase from the Subject and not received the items purchased. This request should remain confidential, as the Subject has been known to frequent web forums, such as those found on eBay and Yesterday's Tractor. Ray Koroleski-Subject of investigation 116 S. I called the number and got the voicemail of Harry Megerian (US postal fraud inspector). Also, google search on his name turns up a "retired" computer forensics guy with a PI license who worked for the govt for many years. Sounds like he may have come out of "retirement". If someone is doing a spoof, they've done their homework. Anyway, I DO agree that the email shouldn't have been published. A general post could have been made to alert others and keep the thread fresh and the light shining on this guy. I'm considering driving by his place and just knocking on his door when I drive up north this summer. Maybe tell him I'm from Publisher's Clearing house and he's just won $1 million. LOL |

| | My take on this: Does it not seem strange to you that its in email form. The US Postal Service does everything through the mail. Something this sensitive will have a signature on the letter. It also states to keep this confidential. This makes it pretty obvious that you do not care about the outcome. Allowing persons to speak about this outside of the investigation will ruin the entire investigation. Not a smart thing to post. The US Postal Service doesn't just pull your email out of a hat and send a message to an email account. The feds know who you are, and know where you live. Sounds like a fake to me. |

| The message read "SHOULD" be kept confidential. I don't see a problem with posting the message here. Ray Koroleski has to know that sooner or later someone would get tired of getting screwed and do something about it. If you ever dealt with him, and were lucky enough to talk to him on the phone you would understand things much better. 1. He would list something for sale, here at YT, ebay, or elsewhere. 2. He would advise you the cost to ship the item insured to your place. 3. After waiting for more than a month your parts and they still have not arrived you get ahold of him by phone. 4. Only to be told the parts you paid for were sent, but he would refuse to furnish any insurance info. 5. If you questioned him about sending the parts and paying for insurance he would cuss you and tell you it was the Post Office's problem not his. 6. He refused to ship or send anything by UPS, or FedEx he knew they would be able to trace their deliveries from start to finish. 7. Maybe others who got screwed by him will see the post above and contact the postal inspector, it may help his case more than you think. |

| My take on it, having done a number of criminal investigations over the years, is that it is entirely possible YOU don't know all the facts of the case. It is quite likley that the case agent who sent you this inquiry has a better grasp of what should or should not be released as it my compromise an ongoing investigation in ways of which you do not realize. Taking it upon yourself to ascribe another meaning to the phrase "This request should remain confidential, as the Subject has been known to frequent web forums, such as those found on eBay and Yesterday's Tractor" was irresponsible. IF you were genuinely concerned with the suspect being successfully prosecuted, you would have complied with the obvious meaning of the phrase. Generally speaking, it is better to not tip your hand to someone that they are being scrutinized until you have collected adequate evidence to approach them from a strong position. You may have just allowed the suspect to become aware of the level of scrutiny he is under, and dispose of or destroy important evidence, possibly even jeopardizing YOUR chance for compensation if you were victimized. Simply brilliant. |
