I have only purchased a few things, or should I say, have tried to purchase, a few things on this site, and have been burned about fifty per cent of the time. I sent a check last week for a purchase and asked the seller to let me know if and when they received the check and when they would send my material.and they have yet to respond. They never left a ph.number. How long should one have to wait? |

| Well, your comments dont elaborate on when last week you sent it or how far away you sent it. Based upon snail mail and e-mail reliability or the lack thereof you might be jumping the gun by just a little bit. That being said, like you, I start to get nervous about this time in the process. Have you checked to see if the check has been cashed? Did you and the seller agree on if he would ship it before the funds cleared? Things like this should be hammered out BEFORE the transaction actually occurs. Probably not too early to get nervous, but very much too early to make accusations of being burned. |
