The original subject was "Feedback needed on seller Mike French in Craig, Mo".

I bought a couple of engines from Mike last year. They were exactly as described. He said up front that he did not know what they were like on the inside. He sold them to me reasonably for pulling tractor motors. I abbandoned that project and started another. I was able to get plenty of money out of them by selling the parts again. Thanks Mike. I only wish I could have spent more time there to look around. He has quite a bit of equipment and parts.

I was doing crop insurance claims in Mikes area about 4 years ago. Just stumbled on his shop, never met him before I stopped by his shop and visited with him. He is a nice guy and seemed to be first class.

PS. Steve Borts, I live at Pilot Grove, MO.
We're neighbors. I am generally on the Farmall board.

I have never done any business with Mike, but I know him from tractor shows. He seems to be an honest individual from what I have witnessed and I have seen him go out of his way to help an elderly gentleman collector when he had problems. I wouldn't have a problem doing business with him. Dave.
