What's the value of a good running and fully restored F-12? Restoration was probably 7 years ago, I can't get a picture to upload.

Seen a beauty sell three years ago this April in north central indiana. Had new tires all around, really nice paint and rebuilt mag. Swinging drawbar looked like new and had original uncut round spokes on the rear, really don't think the tractor seen much work in it time. The guy that owned the tractor crank started it by hand with one slow steady pull before it was auctioned off. He was 92 and joked she starts up and and runs alot better than he does. Brought 1100 or 1150, kick myself in the butt regular when I see them advertised for 1600-2800 and they're not as nice and tires are shot, could have spent that high bid at the tire store and got the tractor for free.
So now your asking why did you not bid? The auction was in a church parking lot, the tractors were saved for the end of the auction. Didnt get to them till almost two in the afternoon. Deal was every thing had to be out by night fall because church was the next day. There were other bargains that day too. Figured Id have to scramble to load my other deals of the day and my trailer only has so much room and made plans to go out that evening at 5 with wife and our friends. Looking back should have bought it and ambuled down to gas station and filled it with gas, found an Amish kid to drive it, point him in the general direction of where it's new home would be and let him roll along at 4mph (high gear) mean while I could go home and go out with wife and friends that evening and some where a little before midnight he would have made the 35-40 mile trip to my place. Some hind sight ha ha !!

Last September, this 1936 brought $1,050 at an auction we attended in southern MN.

It is your run of the mill F-12 1934-35 nothing speacial!was kerosene has primer on the hood.
No rear wheel kleets? but rubber skin. Front tires look OK. 500-1000 running. If more than 2 guys at the auction want it could go a little higher. You can find them all day long for around 1000.00 running noting rare!
Find a heisler road gear or electric start
Maybe an F-12 impliment than you have something.

DC I have many tractor That have more into them than I could sell them for. That was my choose as the tractor ment something to me or my family.
As long as you don't need the money to live on whats wrong with having a nice tractor. Some people call it therapy!!! I pay my tractor instead of a therapist. My tractor never talks back either. oldiron29
