update on 706 bought at a sale

Last December I bought a gas 706 at a sale and it had moisture in the engine oil. I decided to pull the cylinder head off and replace the head gasket because it was seeping coolant on the left side around the front side. I just wanted to say I have it back together and running and it runs great. The tractor still needs a few things but one thing at a time. I am looking forward to making this my tractor drive tractor this summer. This tractor might be a gas hog in the field but it is a pleasure to drive going down the road.

Dieseltech, I have a local drive that weekend. Yours sounds interesting though. I used to be able to have my brother borrow a semi and trailer but his work insurance has put a stop to that. So now I am on the hunt for a truck and trailer. If it's not one thing it's another.

Just out of curiosity, what is the general route of your tractor ride? I've been to the Covered Bridge Festival a few times.

My wife has an uncle who grew up in Parke County, in an area he calls Bal Hinch. Ever heard of it?
