I advanced the timing on the injection pump just like you said. The
engine runs smooth and even starts better. Thanks for all that you
do.

If you had the static timing correct originally, you should not need to advance the timing. What I said was to make sure the internal automatic advance is advancing the injection when it is running. Of course, the timing marks could be off on the pulley if it slipped in it's rubber mounting. I would be curious to see if the auto advance is working with a window installed on pump.
