Can anyone tell me what the gallons per minute and psi of the live hydraulics are on a 1953 stage 2 super M? I am looking at one tomorrow and am interested in running a log splitter and a loader off of that. Thanks.

Don't remember the flow. I'm thinking its around 13gpm but that
seems high. PSI would be around 1200. IT won't work as well as a
pump designed for a log splitter. Those pumps are high flow low
pressure then high pressure low flow when in the log. They are
basically a two stage pump. You can do it but it'll be slower and
work the pump harder.

I tested my SM a fewyears ago. It was around 1400 if
I remember.Dont know the gpm. Yes,it will frun a
loader. But I wouldn't recomewnd for long term
loader use. I've had a loader on my SM from time to
time. Worked fine for Light, nonfrequent use.Should
run a log splitter OK.

For the most part the loader is used for snow removal and wood. I pickup log sections with it then cut them up for splitting. Besides a few random uses that's it. Right now I have it mounted on a 300 utility but that tractor is getting sold, along with its wonderful steering.

(quoted from post at 01:55:30 03/07/15) The Super M will be about the same as your 300, assuming both have good pumps on them.

Problem is the 300 is a horrible loader tractor. You try steering that thing with manual steering. Even with an empty bucket you better be pretty strong. This super M has power steering.
