1066 steering hand pump leak

My steering hand pump is leaking profusely out the side of the case. Now, it was fine but, I am just finishing the install of a new clutch and TA. I also rebuilt the MCV with new springs, seals and gaskets. Upon starting the tractor I tried the brakes and turned the wheels fully both directions then I drove it a bit without issue until we noticed the oil leaking from the steering motor. I doubt this is a coincidence so what have I messed up? I checked the oil pressure at the dump valve port and it is 290 psi. I checked the lubrcation pressure and it is 22 psi. I have put new seals in the hand pump. And I checked the tolerances within the pump and they appear good. After reassembly all looked dry and fine until about the 6th time I cranked the steering wheel completely to one end and oil again sprayed from the case outer seal. My guess is something in the MCV is hanging up and causing a pressure spike. Do you have any ideas where to look? Thanks in advance

Ah yep ya need to trim the spring on the pressure regulator and get it backed down to around 250- 265 as that is even high from stock. When crowding the steering wheel your pressures will spike . The 265 pressures are only the clutch pac lock up pressures and nothing to do with the steering .And since i am getting old off the top of my head i can not remember what the total pressure is and i would have to go out and unfreeze the truck to get to my books .
