Pilot knob has reproduction auxiliary battery boxes for farmall md tractors. Box that sets next to seat he does not currently have mounting brackets but I would be willing to supply brackets for patterns if enough people are interested.the current box is the second pattern box without bottom tabs,hopefully he can get first pattern box made also with tabs in the future depending on demand. I live about 50 miles from Pilot Knob, drove over to get parts for my Super C 10 OR 15 years ago. He's got a beautiful place south of Galena IL. high on a hill over looking the Mississippi river.
 
Well springs right around the corner. It will be a good time to work on it once it warms up. What all is wrong with it.

Is it there after the big train crash?

Why didn't he do the tab box so you didn't need the brackets?
 
The box he had for a pattern was a second pattern
box but he didn't have the brackets. I guess he
didn't know about the tabs, talked with him
yesterday and said it shouldn't be a problem to make
the tabs. He has had them for 2 years but hasn't had
much interest yet. I just found out about them the
other day, getting the brackets made and the tabs
for early boxes would depend on the amount of
interest I guess.

Somebody should have got you the measurements, too. ;)
 
Lol, I ended up getting them. Am going to forward
the info onto Ron at pilot knob along with the pics
of the mounting brackets. He said if he has a good
set for patterns it's not a problem to make them if
there is demand. I don't mind doing what I can to
help people out.
 
Well hopefully you can get it back up and running. They are neat tractors hate seeing them get parted out, cut up or in the bone yard. Hopefully the weather breaks so I can really get started on this smd. Been to cold to do much. Good luck with it.
