1941 model b crankshaft

In very early stages of a big project. Restoring a 1941 b. The crankshaft has a bad spline on the right side. Can I use it as long as I do not run it hard/alot. Will it hold up ? dO NOT PLAN TO USE THAT wheel to run a mill or anything ?
