Can anybody tell me what year this H is by serial
number? 23562 Thanks!

According to the serial number chart on the left on this site, it is a 1940.

I will not tell you but will tell you how to do it your self. On the left under research and info then serial numbers then Farmall then H then see where you number fits in the years listed. Each year starts with a number then you do the math to see where your number fits. One of those you can give man a fish and feed him once or teach him to fish and feed him his life timne

Just FYI, there 's a way to tell the exact date lots of the heavier cast iron parts were cast; look on heavy parts for a cast-in-place label, about 1/2 inch by 3 inches, it was held on the casting by several flat-slot screws. You'll see something like 4 - 12 - J, which corresponds to April 12, 1940. IHC started the date cast system in 1931 with A, H means 1938, then I means 1939. etc.

Darn close guess FH44. Its dated 4*15*J. If I keep on track I should have it done for its 75th birthday. Its not my tractor but that's pretty cool.
