Anybody have any idea if there is a way to internally switch this valve to single action? Sorry, I am 500mi away from the tractor and can't get the number off the valve. Would like to know what I have to do before I head down to start mounting the loader later this week.

I know what I would do . Take the two plugs out that go to cylinder. Use air pressure on inlet side. Operate valve and see which outlet air comes out I each direction. Then pull end cap off bottom and just possibly there is a plug in there to remove and then retest with air to see if air will go on through in one direction of handle pull. Will have to plug the effected outlet in that test. May or may not be a plug there and might even be a relief valve. So many different valves.

i have a manual on the char-lynn model -960 valve. to convert to one way operation, unscrew and remove the screw visible through the 3/4 inch ol port marked "out". install a standard 1/2 inch pipe plug in the cylinder port nearest the handle end. the valve is then ready for control of a single acting system.

Glennster, thank you! I'll give that a try. Hope valve will operate by moving the lever to give the corresponding action I want for the loader. Bach for up and forward for down. .
