Super A piston/sleeve options?

We have started on a Super A that Dad bought a while back. It was stuck and we have it all apart for rebuilding.

In the last rebuild it got 3 1/8 firecraters so it was already made into a 123. Bearings were dated '65. I'm not familiar with these and am wondering how the blocks changed over the years. The serial tag is missing, however the block was cast on 8-15-T, 1950 IIRC.

Will sleeves from a C or Super C fit this block? The block bore is 3.6 at the top and 3.312 at the bottom. The top flange is 3.842 and the step is .225 deep. These may be +/- a few thou as I was using my "field" calipers.

You can get Red Power sleeves and pistons hi-dome for that engine. Just make sure they have the bottom measurements for your block as thetops are the same.

Measurement needs to taken at the bottom as the top is the same. The 3 1/4 are larger at the bottom where the o-ring seats. Thats why you need the measurements before ordering. The 3 1/8 can also have larger dia at the bottom. Depends on the block.
