Hi, I have a Farmall M, Precision die cast model. It has a 'crank' and it seems to me, we had a place to store the crank on the tractor (safely). My Dad & I farmed with both, M & H, back in the 50's..

Flat on the platform between the light post and the seat bracket. Never lost 1.

On my Farmall H I store the crank beside the engine, next to the frame rail.

e did it the same way and never lost the dang thing.

I have a toolbox bolted to the frame rail along side of engine and lay crank in it.
