ih 354 water pump belt removal

got to put a alternator belt on the 354 and its behind the water pump belt,which im not sure how to take off,i dont seen no tensioner on the wp belt only a bolt going into side of the pulley.

think i have it figured out think the pulley is two pieces and sandwich together and adjust it that way

Hi, the water pump pulley is split and is locked by a set screw an locking nut. If the water pump belt is not too tight, with the SHUTOFF lever in OFF position work the gen/alt belt under the water pump pulley and then bump the starter and the gen/alt belt will feed under the water pump pulley and the gen/alt belt can be worked over the fan blades one blade at a time. Reverse procedure to install gen/alt belt.
