MD hood

Is a hood from a MD the same as a gas hood ? Need to know what to look for . The body shop said the one we have isn't going to make it .any help ? Thanks Mark

The MD hood is pretty specific to the MD. It is longer than a regular M hood, as well as the holes for the muffler are on opposite sides. Also, the MD hood has the hole for the gas tank. I believe that a Super MD hood would fit, however.
