farmall m mw handclutch and hydraulic pump??

Going to look at a M tomorrow morning. motor is free but not running supposed to be complete. Says it has a M&W hand clutch and a M&W live hydraulic pump? I do not know anything about the M&W line of parts. What I have read is that the hand clutch gives you a live pto of sorts. and I have never heard of the add on hydraulic pump. Can any one tell me about these.
any and all opinions and information is helpful. thanks

The MW hydralic pump is a 'mag pump'.Driven off the distributor drive.Similar to the factory live pump, only a bit bigger. The hand clutch is made to give that M 'live' pto. It mounted to the pinion shaft of the differential. It simply disconnects one (left) rear wheel. The diferential/drivetrain/transmission stills turns till you step on the foot pedal. They were claimed to not slip, that they would hold any M.However,my 'healthy' SuperM could make it slip while hooked to a pulling sled.As far as I know,it has never slipped in the field. And I have several thousand acres behind it.

That M @ W hand clutch is a good option to have, and maybe has a 9 speed in it too,[thats 4 extra gears/speed's] but not a faster road gear. It's my understanding u can get parts for the hand clutch yet!!!!

No.I pull with 'ThunderMountain Flywheelers and the Western Slope Antique Power Assn. Both out of Delta.Never been to the Salida group.I no longer 'pull' the SuperM.But when I did,it pulled REALLY well.Even almost got a full pull once at a 'play'/practice day.I now pull other tractors

would you happen to know AL Heaton Cattleman honest as the day is long. Rund cattle north of dove creek winter and northeast of dove creek in summer East Pines Ranch
