Anyone recognize this wide front? It's on a 560, but looks to be modified to fit.

100% aftermarket. Late Swartz. good fronts.Norden
and Speeco, maybe others made 'aftermarket' axles to
fit all brands of tractors.Swartz is the most
popular/common.Followed by Norden and Speeco.See if
you can locate a tag somewhere. Usually on the
pivot.

Btw.I have a Swartz on a SM and a Norden on a SH.Both are much better axles than the factory ones of that era.

Ive got a SpeeCo on my 450LP. great front end

I think the one you have pictured is a Norden

here's a pic of mine for comparison

Late schwartz you think? The odd hexagonal bracing and the bracing mount to frame was all a little odd. I had been told it was a schwartz when I bought it, but have never seen a schwartz like it. There are a lot of oddities about it to be sure. I just want to make sure what type of parts to track down if I need them.

Yes, just hoping someone can id it. Otherwise I may buy another wide front just so I know what parts are. I may pull a spindle and measure in hopes that something else might fit.

No tag that I can find, but there are some numbers on the axle tube if I recall.

That is a identical match to the wide fronts on my U-302 & M-602 Minneapolis-Moline tractors I have including the color on the ends.
It is hard to tell from the picture for sure and the center-top bar may have been modified when mounted. Look at the Agco Parts pages to see if the numbers match to what you have.
That is just my opinion and maybe Schwarts made wide fronts for everyone but it sure looks like what I have. Cleddy

Yes, at one time, Schwartz made aftermarket wide front axles to fit just about any brand of tractor there was.

Looks like you nailed it. I'll grab the numbers tonight and see what Agco says. Maybe I can get someone interested in a trade. It's obviously a little cobbled together. Works though!

If you want to sell or trade it maybe post that picture over on the Minneapolis-Moline Forum. Those tractors from 1963-1968 offered 3-options for front wheels(single, narrow and wide) and to change was a matter of pulling the pin, removing a couple bolts and slipping the other front in a dove tail slot. A pretty nice feature for someone that needs that option while fixing the other one

Except for the bracket bolted on the tractor yours looks pretty good and someone will want that.Cleddy

Thanks! I'll take your recommendation on that.

Minnie Mo's have always fascinated me. I really like the 4 star/5 star/jet star, etc... lines. Had a muscular stance. Not many around my parts. In fact only in the past 10 years or so had I ever seen one in person.
