I have a question for folks who are very familiar with the 86 series Internationals. Did IH make a 1586 without a cab? I noticed on this site that they list a set of decals for "1586 without cab." Anybody have any info? Thanks, Hugh

I did an extended search for an 86 series tractor to keep and use on an acreage we bought a few years ago. I looked at 1086, 1486 and 1586. LOTS of them. Ended up buying a 1586 but I never saw one without a cab.

I'm sure an occasional one was built with a 4-post ROPS. Technically that would be "without cab;" there is no need for the stripe decals that go on the doors.

There is a picture on google images that is supposedly a 1586 with a 4-post ROPS, but it is a side angle and there is no model number on the stripe decal. No way to confirm it is a 1586.
