A pto seal

How far do I have to disassemble my pto to replace the seal? The belt pulley looks pretty straight forward but the pto ?? Is there a method to remove the seal without removing the assembly from the tractor? I've learned a lot from this site but I'm kind new to the A. Thanks

You can try and install two sheetmetal screws in the seal then pry the seal out that way. IVE had success that way place them 180 apart use pretty beefy ones as they will have a better bite. Mite want to drill a small hole before installing them as it makes screwing them in easier.
