Farmall 300 FH TA delete

In some locations they are modestly common. Maybe one in three (raw estimate) in some southern states. Probably less than one in 20 in upper Midwest. (again a raw guess. Jim

I have heard the same thing, Jim.

Dad worked at IH Dealer as Service Mgr in Troy, Ohio. He always heard the reason for some Tractors with no TA in South was a lot of hired drivers who drove tractors hard so owners ordered base units so less could go wrong.

I bought one two years ago with TA delete, standard drawbar, and transmission driven pto, but it did have fenders.

No FH is somewhat common around here in NY, at least the ones I have seen for sale. No TA seems rarer here. Mine has both and they are both very useful in my opinion.

It isn't odd. It was a factory option. You could save a few bucks by not getting it. To many farmers money was an issue. Todays big time farmers buy tractors with GPS systems for planting straight rows.LOL The time have sure changed.

There was one sold near me in Southern Indiana recently For $ 375.00 without these options and I was wondering how rare they were. I kick myself for not buying it, a friend bought it and didn't take much to get it running.
