how do I set the float on my IH574 Utility tractor?

If you buy a good carb kit which you need any how when you open up that carb it will have instructions on how to adjust the float

Lacking "specs", if you set the float level with the carb top inverted you will be so damn close getting any closer will be splitting hairs.

The last carb kit I got was a good one [ sorry, don't remember exactly where I got it ] that the float was already pre-set at exactly the right setting. I just carefully installed it, and checked it, and is was exact. You might carefully check yours, before you start bending anything.

Right on. Almost always works. Just think of how the designer would just naturally draw it!
