What would a completely restored OS-6 be worth? I have a chance to pick up one, but it's in rough shape. Just don't want to get involved with something that's too common, with the cost it would take to fix it up.

The OS-6 is the orchard version of the W-6. They are quite rare to find. I would say the value of one fully restored would vary by where you are but I wouldnt be surprised to see a mint condition one sell for $10,000 or more.

Edit; Its rare to find an orchard intact. Most orchard tractors of any make that I've seen is typically missing some sheet metal. Alot of the orchard tractors got scrapped because they got so beat up on the farm. Thats why they are rare.

That's more for a O-6. IIRC the OS-6s are pretty much a W-6 with an underslung exhaust and air filter.

Are they still uncommon, or do they share the same commonness and value as a W-6?

Yes thats right. I can count on two fingers how many O-6's I've seen in my life.

I can also count on 2 fingers the number of buyers you would have. Times are tough for selling old tractors.
