Attempting to plumb a loader for 300 Utility...PLEASE HEL...

I bought a parts tractor that had a complete PS unit. I have stripped it down and it all looks really good to me. I removed the hydraulic blocks the PS line was connected to and this block has a flow control valve to reduce pressure for the PS.
In the pics, # 1 is the line that the power steering was connected to on a parts tractor and is going to be connected the same on my 300.
#2 is the one that I plan to supply my loader.
# 3 is the port that I would like to use as a return line for the loader.

From my research, #1 on this block has a flow control valve to reduce pressure for the PS.

My questions are.... Is # 2 a pressure line that could supply the loader?
Can I use the # 3 port on the bottom of the block as a return line for the loader??

Thanks for any help you can give me.

IH Fan, I also have a 300 Utility with 3 remote valves and factory PS. My PS lines come off the back of the regulater/flow divider. This is the part you still have mounted on the tractor in your picture. Then mine has a pipe that comes off the flow/divider and goes to the side of 3rd rear valve and the outside of the two front valves. My factory U34 loader is connected to the bottom ports on the 2 front valves. One port is single acting for the loader cylinders and the other front port is double acting for the bucket. My 3rd valve is used for the fast-hitch.

Attached are a few pictures I took a long time ago for another person who wanted to do the same hook-up. The might give you some idea as this is a completely factory setup. I could take some better pictures if that would help you.

My 1st picture is the rear flow divider with lines to the PS. The 2nd picture is the pipe from the flow divider to 3rd valve and then to front valves. Last picture shows the front valves. Al

The block on the rear between the valve the controls the fast hitch and the reservoir is just a block with not ports at all......it almost looks more like just a spacer than anything else...I really don't know what the purpose of it is except to allow more room to route the hoses for the fast hitch cylinder. Maybe I should remove the "spacer block" and install the block with the flow control valve then feed my loader from the #2 port... I wish I knew more about hydraulics..

IH Fan, If the block you see next to your fast-hitch valve at the rear has no ports on it, then I think that is the pressure regulator for your hydraulic system. Only those tractors that have factory PS would have a combined pressure regulator and flow/control block. So my guess is the system you have did not have a factory PS setup. I think you could still use the front valves to operate your loader cylinders. Maybe someone else who is more familiar with these 300 Utility hydraulics will chime in. I have never had the hydraulics apart. My dad bought this tractor with U34 loader almost new in about 1960. Al
