Source for head stud nuts

I have to replace a few head stud nuts on the "M" engine I'm rebuilding. The factory nuts are a oversized heavy nut (1/2"NF). Standard 1/2" nuts take a 3/4" wrench, but the factory ones take a 7/8". I would prefer to go back with the heavy nuts but I have exhausted my local suppliers (including the local International/Case dealer). Could anyone point me in the direction of a source of these nuts? Thanks, Ron

just a thought.. near to me is a JD dealer, and not too far is MF, and New Holland guy is further. You might look around and not limit yourself to just IHC.

McMaster-Carr has them, you will probably have to buy them in a package quantity, but the price will still be very reasonable. www.mcmaster.com

I have some used ones if you exhaust all other options. They can't be worth too awful much I wouldn't think, and to ship a few nuts sure shouldn't cost much either.

I have used arp-bolts, it would be a flanged type nut either 6 or 12 point that is 3/4 in size. I would pair them with their hardened washers. I replaced 1/2 inch head bolts in a ford 6600 with studs, nuts and washers from arp for half of what ford wanted for them.
