Belly Pump Oil Change

Hello,and Happy New Year!
I'm working g on a great 1950 Farm all H.
When I used the Lift-All, oil comes out the filler
cap a bit. I want to drain the oil and replace it.
I ran it to warm up the oil a bit, but when I opened
the drain plug I only got about a quart or two out.I
removed the filler cap, still no more oil.
Am I missing something?
I know it holds about 6 QTS.
I would really appreciate any input!
Thanks!

There's no trick to it. Remove the drain plug on the bottom, and you should get 6 quarts of oil out.

Have you poked a stiff wire up in there to see if a wad of sludge has covered over the hole? Have you tried to push some compressed air into the filler hole?

Pour one of those quarts backin, and let it drainout; if one quart pours in and one quart comes out, there's your answer. I'd then check the actual dipstick, to maake sure, and I'd rely onthat reading.

Went with the idea of running a quart of the old oil through it.
It came straight through..
Drained it, addead 6 qts. Fired it up and it blew a stream out of a hole in the top of the cylinder.
Did I blow something, or is the hole supposed to have a bolt in it?
Also wondering why it was blowing by the cap with only 2 qts of oil in it??
Thanks for the help!!
Hope 2015 is "THE BEST YEAR EVER!"

Being's my H is also a 1950, I feel like I need to help here. Sounds like the control lever is pulled all the way to the rear, or someting is going on, to make the unit constantly pump oil. Then it also sounds like youhave a hole or open port on whatever cylinder it is you are talking about. Soundslike two separate things need fixing.
