Farmall A torque values

I'm replacing the head gasket on my A because it leaks oil. The first time I replaced the gasket I didn't have any torque values for the head hold down nuts, so I didn't know if I had them tight enough. The head was machined and the block looked to be flat.
I didn't use any sealer on the gasket, just mounted it dry.
The new gasket that I have is a Victor Reinz and I noticed that one side of it is steel. Someone had told me that that was the type of head gasket that Farmall originally used.
I would appreciate any tips or information that anyone might have.
Thanks

All the modern head gaskets I have seen require sealer and re-torque after it runs and warms up.

80 foot lbs is the recommended torque for head bolts. You may see some older manuals and references that call for 65 lbs, that was since revised to 80 ft/lbs.
