could someone tell me what yr they started making the low boy? the serial number on this oneis 23507 j.

I always thought to lower center of gravity. Many were used to mow hillsides and river and dam levies so safety a big factor. Also another plus for low boy was mowing under and around trees. Also easier for operator to get on and off.

according to tractordata they were made 1955 until 1968. serial number 23507 would be a 1967.
