Hi, usually it is caused by either junk that
has got down behind the seat that is
interfering with the PTO lever mechanism or
parts of the PTO lever mechanism have seized
up. Take your favorite spray lubricant and
spray all the parts of the lever mechanism. The
PTO lever mechanism goes from the right side
where the lever is going behind the seat going
to the left side under the left foot rest to
top of the MCV valve. The PTO actuator is on
the upper right of MCV and MCV is where
hydraulic filter is mounted. Sometimes you have
to lift the protective rubber boot covering the
PTO control valve and spray oil on the control
valve while working the PTO lever on/off.
