Farmall C fenders

I'm having a hard time trying to locate fenders and brackets for the "C". My grandkids are approaching driving age, and I'd like to add some safety protection similar to fenders. Even I am uncomfortable driving it without fenders.

Anyone got any home-made ideas? If yes, pictures would help.

Thanks.

H or M or 300 fenders can be made usable by fabricating a 1/2" plate to stick out toward the platform about 3 inches. This plate would be threaded to bolt to the Fenders 4 holes with bolts that would not protrude through the bottom of the plate 9or were ground off).
U bolts (2 on each side) could be bent to conform to the Hexagon shape of the axle housing and tighten into the plate. Jim

These guys are in the upper midwest. Not sure where you are. I have personally dealt with Bernie, the last listing. Good guy to deal with.

Hi

Where are located? I have a set, but I live in NE Alberta. Shipping from here makes most things cost prohibitive.

Cheers

Russ

You can get new reproduction fenders and U-bolts from dozens of different online tractor parts sites, including this site:

They're a little spendy from this site, but it's for the kids so you should be sparing no expense here.

I don't know what you used to search on, but if you used "Farmall C fenders" on google, you get several pages of useful results before you get to the porn.

That round thing in front of you put both hands on it and don't ride the clutch ,that is what I was told and never fell off , that being said my grandkids don't drive it , I let them drive my F340, it has fenders and the seat is a lot lower.

I was told the same thing. If you are worried that much, maybe they should not drive yet. Install a seat belt, then they cant fall off.

They wouldn't tie us on because we had a JD turn over backwards and that's why I would be scared of fenders they might be in my way.. lol

The brackets you refer too to fasten them to the tractor are actually large u-bolts which fit around the lower part of the axle housing and run up through the bottom plate of the fenders and are secured with lock washers and hex nuts. I'm in south central Missouri and I have a nice pair of IHC originals if you would be interested in them I would sell, Hal.
