New guy here, I live in southern CT. I figured im going to have lots of questions with my project. My uncle bought a '39 H a couple years ago. He hasn't had time to do anything with it, so I 'inherited' it. Its a pretty early serial #3751. My Dad and I have restored cars before but this is the first tractor.
It is complete except the engine is out and completely apart. The frame and some of the sheetmetal has been sandblasted and painted. The head was redone at a machine shop and the crank turned. I have some engine questions, but ill save that for another post

Can I post pictures ?? Do I have to wait ? Can I post a link to pictures on another file sharing site?

Thanks Mark

Try the test forum page for a while if you are new to the "community" or e-mail/post(site comment forum) the page support folks if you have problems. Once you figure things out and start having problems there are hundreds of people willing to lend a hand. Just explain the best you can and we'll take it from there. Have fun and good luck on your new project.

You can't post pictures until you have 25(?) posts. So if you go to the test forum and post 25 times...

Yes, you can post a link to Photobucket etc

Go to the search box at the top of the Farmall forum & type in: Eastsider

My son has many pictures of H restoration on the Farmall forum.

WElcome, but what an opportunity. Many many many questions on restoration start, "Can I sand-blast this thing??? Without getting sandinto everything??"
You're already ready for that, go ahead and blast all you can, of use a grinder, prime it, and you're many steps ahead of the job.

As a fellow CT resident and owner of a restored turboed H, welcome! Nice to see others from CT on here.
