Replacing Cooling System Parts

Have a few questions. Need to replace radiator hoses, belts, and thermostat while I have it apart.

In my parts manual, it has (C-123 501 to 65000) & (C-123 65001 up) in the engine section. Is this the tractor serial # or block #?

Where would I find a thermostat, didn't see any listed here for sale. It works, but thought replacing while apart.

My radiator overflow drain hose (copper) is blocked up at entrance and separated from filler neck. Can I unblock it and solder to filler neck?

Thanks

Are you sure you don't need to remove your radiator and have it cleaned as well while you are at this point? It will certainly be a simple job when you have the front exposed to replace the other items. I would also think about a new CaseIH water pump unless you feel it has been recently replaced. The reason I state a CaseIH water pump is I first went the other route on my Farmall 240 which turned out to be an Asian import which was of such poor quality it was immediately returned to S T E I N E R ' S, Hal.

Thanks Owen. Got everything at napa but thermostat. Number didn't cross successful, so I'll do some digging elsewhere online.

Farmallhal- waterpump rebuild kit here any good? Ordering a new muffler next couple days. Bottom part of mine came apart.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! About to demolish some turkey at the family table. :)

I would think theirs is as good as any if you are a do it yourself rebuild person. I don't know what the kit consists of other then a bearing and some packing but should be fine. I obtained a new CaseIH complete water pump assembly from Bermuda Ken who posts frequently on this forum through their dealership in Juda, Wisconsin. My email is open if you would like his contact information, Hal.
