International 660 diesel

Hey Bill! you had a great to the USA,I hope! The leak could be fron the Oring at the bottom of the (wet) sleeve.Or it be head gasket.Pull the pan and look for drips along the bottom of the sleeves. It will help to put a bit of pressure on the cooling system. Also small chance of a cavitated/cracked sleeve dripping.

Hi

I think the 660 is a dry sleeved engine, I would also check the condition of the oil cooler. The oil cooler is on the left front of the engine(when sitting on the tractor) I suggest you by pass the coolant lines to the oil cooler, change oil and filter, if no coolant gets in the the oil, the oil cooler is the culpirt. Good luck

Cheers

Russ

its a dry sleeve engine. so you may have a crack in block between the sleeve or even both. also head gasket as these engines are very prone to head gasket leaking. least probable is a cracked head, as this will send compression into the rad.
usually when the oil cooler gives out you have oil in rad, not anti freeze in oil.
best is to remove pan and dry things up with brake kleen and place cardboard under engine overnight. usually can see where leak is coming from.
