That is awesome. M's are just amazing. We used them to pull 10 foot saplings from foresting the dam and pond area. They have such a throaty low RPM power, the wheels slip and they keep on tugging. Push in clutch, let it out again, repeat. Out come the trees. We have had a few H's since the M, and boy do we miss having a big strong M around.

Congrads. My first tractor was a Farmall Super M. A friend couldn't pull his pontoon boat off my concrete boat ramp on the river, because one pontoon was filled with water. He tried to use his 4 wheeler, was slipping and sliding sideways. The Super M yanked it out like nothing. Nice power.

I have 2 H's and an M. Use the H's for lite little get arounder tractors like raking hay. Whenever I need a little meat on the bone I always climb on the M. You will never regret going a little bigger. I bet the more you drive it, the more you will like it.

I have an M and an H . The M is supposed to be a 49 but it has disc brakes on it. And they have the IH numbers on them. The old grils has been helped out along the way she's turning 53 horses now. The H has been helped also its got a loader on it and I use it all the time. Enjoy them both... Kenny

I just used my old '50 M to plant 50 acres of winter peas after the hydraulics on the 400D decided to become uncooperative. Good old reliable M.

The live hydraulics and IPTO on the "newer" Farmalls are nice but it's great to have a simpler tractor to back those up!

I'd be lost without my M - I use it daily. They will use some fuel, though. That will probably be something you notice fairly quick.
