Hooking up 3point to Farmall Super M?

Need some help, very new to these tractors. I got a hold of a 3 point for my Farmall super M and I need to know how to hook it up a plumb it correctly. Any tip or help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any information you could tell me about the tractor or loader hydraulics that are on it would be helpful.

Thanks in advance..... Below is a link to pickers of the tractor and 3point

On my H, which I believe is similar, I just ran a hydraulic hose from the left-hand side aft port over to the bottom port of the hydraulib cylinder. Put a vent plug in the top port. Done.
Be very careful, with that 3-point. I was loading mine onto the back of pick-up, with chains and loader, asked wife to hold an arm to steady it as I lowered it. As it lowered, the thing folded up like a pair of scissors, right on my sife'w hand... no damage, but it could have cut an arm off. If you pick it up or lower it, DON'T HOLD IT, use a rope or a 15' rope.

FBH44's method is the basic method to connect it to the belly pump for one way operation with a single-cylinder hitch.

You have a 2-cylinder hitch, and a hydraulic nightmare on the tractor. Someone sure made things complicated.

There are THREE hydraulic systems on that tractor:
1. Belly pump, which looks to be unused.
2. Distributor drive live pump. Not sure where that goes.
3. PTO pump, for the loader?

We don't know how anything is connected or if anything is interconnected.

Is that 3rd hydraulic remote on the loader unused? It appears to be plugged on top. You could connect the 3pt to that remote and operate it with two-way, pressure up, pressure down. Simply connect the two cylinders in tandem using hoses and tees, and connect them to the unused remote.

Thank you all for the comments so far! I just want to say I really appreciate it...

There are THREE hydraulic systems on that tractor:
1. Belly pump, which looks to be unused.- I agree, it's not in use.[/color:bd6ea0b501]
2. Distributor drive live pump. Not sure where that goes.- As far as I can tell, this just goes to a black reservoir that is attached to the loader. Not sure if it goes anywhere else (There are Pictures in the slide that show the reservoir on the right side) It does have fluid in it. [/color:bd6ea0b501]
3. PTO pump, for the loader? They have the PTO pump attached to the loader. [/color:bd6ea0b501]

From looking at it, I believe that the PTO pump is the only thing driving the hydraulics, but would like to sort out the best way for having the loader and the 3point.

The third remote is unused, the guy I bought it from told me that it was used for a large Hay Grapple, but had sold it and capped it off. (all was plumbed by him) So I'm assuming he didn't know it had the live pump. Also, he did say he bought the loader separate and put it on himself.

Thanks again with helping get this mess straight and work through my learning curve :)

Use the third remote valve on the loader.

Install the 3pt on the tractor.
Tie the top ports on the two cylinders together with short hoses and a TEE fitting.
Tie the bottom ports on the two cylinders together with short hoses and a TEE fitting.
Run a hose from one TEE to one of the capped ports on the unused remote.
Run a hose from the other TEE to the other capped port on the unused remote.

You will need a few swivel fittings in strategic locations to make the final connections. You will probably also need some elbows so the hoses aren't sticking out all over.

Get an old garden hose and use it to figure out how you're going to route the hoses and how long the hoses need to be. Hoses should be tucked away from any moving parts, not hanging down below the tractor, and not in your way. Zip ties come in handy.
