Farmall C no hydraulics

I used the tractor in August and the hydraulics
worked fine. October 21 started the tractor, no
hydraulics. The system isn't 'singing' to me when
the engine is running and both touch control
levers/rockshafts are unresponsive. No sign of
lost fluid.

Possible broken drive gear on the pump or what?

Have you checked the engine oil level? The hydraulic oil may be leaking into the engine. Hal
PS: Item 11 may have a worn groove from the old seal.

Yes pull the pump too many times the lock isnt put on the nut and it works loose. If you are not hearing the whine just leads to the pump not turning.

Haven't checked the oil to see if it is elevated. The pump has not been off the tractor in it's life that I'm aware of. I'll see it again on November 15 so I'll see if the oil level is up in the engine and low in the hydraulic reservoir.
