international 454 tractor

i have a 454 gas tractor,is there another place where the serial number is? the plate on the left side by the foot rest is worn blank,,, there is a tag on the bellhousing with a number stamped on it ,what is this number? thanks

Hope this helps. I have a I-454D, and an owners manual for a 574 and service manual for 454 thru 884. I did not find anything in the service manual(s) but in the 574 owners manual for identification there is shown a "tractor serial number" on a plate by the clutch pedal, a "skidded unit serial number" on the bell housing, and a "gasoline engine serial number" or "diesel engine serial number" (stamped I think), on the engine.
