I now have a farmall "C", ser# tells me it is '49, has Pistons the same dia as Super "C" will the block #251068R1 tell me if it is an oversized 113 or a 123 block? It does not have a water pump. Thanks

You will never now what sleeves are in the block until you remove the head and then you can measure. Over the last60plus yrs there is no way of knowng what has been changed so remove head then and only then will you know whats in there. All #s dont mean anything now.

I have removed the head and the sleeves are the same dia as a Super "C", I was wondering if it originally was a 113 with oversized sleeves or if it was a Super "C" block in a "C" tractor

If it is 1949 Farmall C the original engine would be 113 ci with 3 inch bore. However, you cannot get 3 inch bore sleeves any longer and most 113 engines that have had new sleeves fitted have been fitted with 3 1/8 in sleeves making them effectively a 123 ci engine

thanks, that is what it all points to, so all gaskets etc for the original 113 will work even tho there are 3 1/8" pistons with domed tops?

Easy way to tell: Look for the "C113" cast into the block somewhere near the date code and part number.
