If you are good at puzzles, it can be taken off with the shroud on. It takes patience. But it will come off.

Take your time; I have done it a couple times with no problems.

yes,ive done it with fan shroud on before,but for someone that hasn't,take it off..much easier and parts stay together better on gov when removal///
