F14 head disposal

In a couple of weeks, I might take a small load of scrap to the local yard. I have a head (5643 D) that has the manifold still attached, but no valves in it. How much is it worth? Is it worth trying to sell? Or just scrap it? I hate to toss something that someone else will need, but I need to get rid of this stuff that is cluttering my buildings. I have NO desire to try to ship something this size.
Thank you

Unless it is cracked and not useable, it should be worth MORE than scrap to the right person. Place an ad right here on YT, or on Craig's list. If someone wants it, they can come to your place and pick it up.

If youre not willing to ship it, then just scrap it. I know someone who may be interested, but I don't think hes willing to drive from NC to get it, just not worth that much.

the ones that are restoring the w12's and 14's would find it valuable as few of them tractors were produced.

10 min job pull manifold. Take to ups or fed x. Let them pack. buyer pays packing and shipping. Seems ok to help out another guy if they truely want the head and manifold.

I agree, shipping one of those is not a big deal. The buyer has to pay the costs. you can simply wrap a sheet of cardboard around it and put the address label on it (of course after removing the studs). Or, you can fit it into a box and stuff old newspaper around it.

In any case, the buy needs to cover the cost of shipping. I bought an F30 head and had it shipped. Cost me $60 for shipping, but I wanted the head.
